To all Readers

Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I promise to tell you where I got the book from and to provide an honest review regardless of the source.  

To literary agents,authors, publishers and others wishing to have a book reviewed.

I am grateful that you are considering me to review your book.  Before submitting your request, please read the following underlined review policies:  Please note the following as contacting me assumes you have read and agree to these terms:

 I don't review science fiction,fantasy children or young adult titles. I also won't accept any materials that I consider  erotic or sexually simulating

I will accept, at my discretion,  e books, pdfs print books, and advanced review copies. 

Please allow one month for me to review your book and post it online. 

All  reviews will be posted on my Good Reads pages. Selected reviewers may appear under my byline(stephenjenkins046@gmail.com ) on the Midwest Review of Books website.

By sending me a review request you are acknowledging that you are okay with a negative review of your book.  I do promise to give your book a fair evaluation-however I can't guarantee that I will like   it . I can promise that negative reviews will be respectful and be free of derogatory comments.  

Once I have finished reading a book for review, I donate it to my local library, give it to a fellow blogger or friend, or delete it (in the case of eBooks)

I don't use a rating system like on star two stars three stars.

What I like to read and review:

I really am truly and genuinely interested in a wide variety of books, I enjoy reading both fiction and nonfiction. Some my favorites include 

Mystery/Crime

Thrillers

History/Historical Fiction

Politics

Religion/Christian Faith 

This is by no means an exhaustive list of the kinds of titles that  I enjoy reading. If your book does not fall into one of the categories listed above, feel free to send me a review  request and I will be happy to consider reviewing it.
